let's get out of this town...

Okay so, I can't even start to tell you how excited I am about this weekend. I feel like I just might burst from all the happiness! This Saturday my best friend Liz and I are headed to the city for a special day and night with some very amazing women! We are headed to the Renegade Craft Fair. I have never been, but I have heard amazing things. I am new to the crafting world. It is true that I was once VERY crafty at a much earlier age. But I have let work and life consume me and forgotten about how much I loved using my hands to actually MAKE something other than breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It has also been fun for me to HAVE something other than work in my life. I am still a beginner but I have hopes of perfecting my skills someday. It's my dream to actually make my own clothing and to save myself thousands of dollars a year. yes, i really DO shop THAT much... eek.

So anyways, our plan is to leave Saturday morning around 8 a.m. and hop in my VW. I love this car. It's technically dad's but he's lending it out for the day!! Navigation, I need you in my life. We should arrive in San Francisco in no time. Then we will spend the day at the fair, buying and making as much as our little hearts desire. That evening we will be retiring at the White Swan Inn. I found this little gem usually my friends Ashlee's connections. I am so excited. I am an avid swan lover. The hotel even has a cute little parlor with wine served in the evenings. How stinking cute is that? Before that the girls and I are all meeting up for dinner and drinks at Bin 38. I am uber excited about this because my chef used to work there and I have been told that we will get the star treatment! SO exciting!!
