BE HAPPY

 {put a smile on your face, make the world a better place}
Happy New Year World!
It's exciting, isn't it?
I love the New Year. The fresh start. How enthusiastic OTHERS get about the New Year.
It's a time of joy, and a time of fresh starts.

Today's Lesson:
BE HAPPY

No matter WHAT.
Sometimes I wake up, and I just don't want to get out of bed. I fight it actually, or I fight the person I wake up next to. That's the last way you want to start your day. I have made a promise to myself. I will wake up EACH MORNING, and SMILE. The first thing I do, no matter what, is SMILE. Because I am alive, and Jesus loves me.

How do YOU wake up in the morning? I encourage you to join me in my private little pact.
Happy New Year loves.
XOXO-
Shawni Marie

  8. This is such a sweet post! I usually start out with a smile in the mornings...but I need to work on keeping it when something goes wrong (instead of swearing/eating ice cream/freaking out). I love your positive attitude, Shawni! :o)

  9. I like this - sometimes people make these long and drawn-out lists of resolutions that are unrealistic and ill-fated... Something as simple as starting the day off with a good attitude can do wonders for all the other things you may want to focus on... A very Happy New Year to you!

  10. I'm going to try and do this too.......but we'll see how it goes when I'm trying to get out of bed at 4:00 am. In the cold. Blech. But at least I have a job, so that's definitely something to smile about!

  12. Ugh. That is NOT how I woke up this morning!
Actually, I woke up to my alarm blazing, I rolled over turned t off, flicked on my lamp and promptly fell back asleep. About 20 minutes later when I got my but out of bed I resembled a sloth- trudging around the house until I *actually* resembled a regular human being.
I will try and take your lovely advice and hope for a brighter tomorrow! Full of smiles, smiles and more smiles!!!
    Happy New Year my dear!!!!
