I admittedly have a horrible shopping problem. And yes I had promised to stop, but its just not working out as planned. So instead I will blog about my purchases... Starting with my makeup. It has become a new obsession of mine and i thought that maybe once a week I would share with YOU what I have been trying out. Recently I was shopping on Sephora and I scored 10 free samples. So I am going to start there.
Today's post is dedicated to Clinique Acne Solutions Liquid Makeup.
So i started with a fresh face. Obviously.
I then used my makeup brush (Benefit) to apply the sample all over my face. Concentrating mostly on my problem areas. I will say that I have to thank my father for my skin, because luckily I don't have many trouble spots.
I noticed that my makeup gave me a REALLY clear "canvas"
Then I applied my usuals...
Get Even Face Powder, Bronzer by Bare Minerals, and Blush from M.A.C.
Now for my secret weapon...
I am ALL about eyebrows. I totally believe that a sexy eyebrow will never do you wrong
Oh and I added a little eye liner. Just for fun!
Next my Super Juicy Gelle' Lip Gloss from M.A.C. and I was out the freaking doooooor!!
In short, I fell in LOVE with this foundation. SO much so that I went to buy some a few days later. It stayed on ALL day. I work 17 hour days, so this is pretty important to me.
Tell me what foundation you use. I'm always looking for options <3
love love love,

This post is amazing and you are beautiful. Srsly. I love you.
ReplyDeleteI love makeup posts because I'm a bit of a Sephora junky myself. My favorite foundation is Make Up Forever HD Invisible Cover Foundation - it gives the most amazing coverage while still looking natural. I can't go without Benefit's That Gal primer, either - it's my favorite. For a cheaper foundation, I like Cover Girl and Olay Simply Ageless Foundation (it does have a tendency to settle into fine lines, though). I haven't had luck with Clinique so far, but I also don't apply my foundation with a brush, so maybe that's the difference! What do you like for mascara? I could talk about all types of makeup all day! :)
ReplyDeleteOh man, so wish I could afford this stuff, sounds amazing!
